Habitat and Trail Information: The Cow Creek National Recreation Trail (#1424) follows Cow Creek for approximately 4 miles, providing birders with access to diverse habitats. Be prepared to ford five creek crossings up to two feet deep or look for stable, downed logs to use as bridges. Trail elevation ranges from 2,500 to 4,160 feet.
